DMI and Allegient: Uniting for Expanded End-To-End Mobility

The world has become hyper-connected, accelerating the demand for mobility and IoT solutions and services. Organizations are racing to keep up with the mobility expectations of both customers and employees. Regardless of situation, we all expect sustained connectivity and the instant ability to conduct our business. While organizations are embracing new tools and techniques for bringing mobility into the mainstream, this cannot be done as a siloed effort disconnected from the core business.

In my last post, I discussed digital transformation and the steps leading companies are taking to win at reinventing the art of mobile service deployment. Delivering valuable and contextual interactions with end users requires integration across both consumer and enterprise data and applications.

We’ve been delivering that integrated approach for many of the world’s largest brands over the last 15 years. In delivering consumer-facing mobility solutions, we see Microsoft technologies prevalent across the spectrum. Yes, there are other common platforms in the corporate ecosystem, but Microsoft enjoys a special position of prominence. Many of our customers are looking at how they can expand their enterprise platforms for the mobile world.

To further strengthen our ability in delivering fully integrated mobility solutions, DMI is excited to announce that it has acquired Allegient, a business and technology consulting firm focused on translating business challenges into technology solutions with particular depth across the Microsoft domains. Established in 2001 with offices in Indianapolis and Chicago, Allegient has built a robust business focused on Microsoft technologies. In fact, they have Gold and Silver certified competencies across all of their offerings.

This is particularly valuable because, as organizations move toward digital transformation and rely increasingly on the cloud, demand for qualified systems integrators is on the rise. Microsoft partners who have certified competencies are well equipped to help companies manage and quickly derive value from this transformation.

In addition to this deep knowledge of Microsoft solutions, DMI’s customers will benefit from Allegient’s experience in data analytics, application development, user experience design, project management, process improvement as well as enterprise platform solutions in CRM, team collaboration and content management. Specifically, we see an acceleration in organizations adopting Microsoft Xamarin as their mobility platform. We will leverage Allegient’s leadership team and consulting talent in direct support of our goals towards growth and expansion of service offerings for our customers.
